Our Leadership Team

Jeff Chastain

Jeff joined Evercast as CEO in December 2018.  Jeff has over 25 years of experience as a strategic leader in the building products sector with a strong history of developing organizational capabilities, driving cultural alignment and change, capitalizing on growth strategies, and delivering results. 

Jeff was previously the SVP/GM at Hunter Fan Company leading their Commercial & Industrial Division.  Prior to this, Jeff worked as the VP/GM of Guardian Building Product’s Insulation business where he led a strategic turnaround improving operational performance and overall customer satisfaction.  At James Hardie Building Products, Jeff held various roles of increasing responsibility culminating in his role as the Global Director of R&D. 

Jeff earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and has completed several executive education programs over his career.

Dwight LaCelle

Dwight LaCelle joined Evercast as CFO in March 2019.  Dwight has significant experience in all areas of accounting, strategic planning, ERP selection and Implementation, and acquisition integration.  Dwight previously served as the Director of Finance in the Safran Group, a leading Tier 1 supplier in Aerospace, General Manager of Saertex USA, a manufacturer of composite textiles, and served as CFO for Mafic Group, a manufacturer of composite fibers made from basalt.

Dwight has earned his BS in Accounting and Business Administration from Central Washington University.  Additionally, he is a Certified Managerial Accountant.

Michael Barnes
VP of Sales & Marketing

Michael joined Evercast as VP of Sales & Marketing in September 2019.  Michael has over 25 years of experience in sales and leadership positions in the construction industry, primarily in the manufacturing side of concrete products, with a strong history of developing new business opportunities, sales growth and delivering improved top line and bottom-line results.  Michael has spent the bulk of his career working in the Precast and Bridge industry with the last 9+ years with Oldcastle Infrastructure in sales leadership roles.  Prior to his Oldcastle tenure, Michael worked with several industry leaders including Big R Bridge, Euclid Chemical, Rinker Materials and Hebel. Each of these roles mainly dealt with sales, education, business development and sales leaderships, but valuable experience and knowledge was gained about field installations and manufacturing processes during this time. 

Michael has participated and held leadership positions in many industry associations over his career, including American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Council of Civil Engineers (ACEC), National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA), American Concrete Pipe Association (ACPA), and the Carolina Concrete Pipe and Products Association (CCPPA).

Michael is a native of the Carolinas and currently resides in Mint Hill, NC with his wife Elizabeth, their two girls and two golden retrievers.  He graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS in Civil Engineering and has completed several sales and leadership education programs over his career. In his free time, Michael enjoys tennis, scuba diving and relaxing at home with his family and friends.

Jason Hewatt
VP of Business Development

Jason is currently the Vice President of Business Development for Evercast and its subsidiary brands.  Jason has served in a national capacity representing two different Precast Concrete companies prior to joining Evercast. Jason served as a Director of Technical Resources at Forterra, Inc. and as Project Consultant at Foley Products Company and has a total of 12 years’ experience in precast.  Before precast, Jason worked as a Bridge Contractor and has over 12 years’ additional experience in the Bridge market and a total of 27 years’ in construction.    

Jason participates in many industry associations including the GA Chapter of American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) where he has served on the Board as well as currently serves on the National Board for ASHE, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) serves in several state and local chapters, American Council of Civil Engineers (ACEC), American Standards of Testing & Materials (ASTM) serves on several key committees and voting rights in the interest of precast products as well as a Committee Member of the National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA).

Jason is a native of Georgia and still resides there with his wife Tracy and three girls.  He attended Southern Tech for a degree in Civil Engineering and enjoys hunting and golf with his family and friends in his free time.

Mark Seals
VP of Operations

Mark Seals has over thirty years of experience leading manufacturing and operations across multiple industries. He is a certified lean 6 Sigma black belt and has experience implementing lean operating systems for small, medium and large companies in both public and private sectors. Mr. Seals holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration from Liberty University. 

Agripino Serrano
Director of Human Resources

Agripino handles strategic and tactical responsibilities of our Human Resources function and works with and across all of our businesses.      

Agripino has an extensive HR leadership background and has worked and led teams in such organizations as GE, Ingersoll Rand and Doosan / Bobcat.   Agripino has his BS in Management / Human Resources and earned his MBA from Webster University in St. Louis, MO. Agripino is also a veteran of the US Air Force. 

Bryant Clark
General Manager (Dellinger Precast)

Bryant is currently the General Manager for Dellinger Precast where prior he served as the Assistant General Manager for 5years.

Bryant has been in the Precast Concrete Industry for 18 years. Bryant started his career with Stay Right Tank Company in 2003 then followed with Tindall Corp., Hanson Precast, Precast Supply. Bryant has worked with many engineering firms and municipalities over the years helping to introduce the many uses of precast.

Bryant still resides in North Carolina with his wife. He attended RCCC for Communications and enjoys his grandchildren, horseback riding and play golf and his toes in the sand.

Joel Nowlin
General Manager (Eastern Vault)

Joel recently joined Evercast as the new General Manager of our location in Princeton W.V. in January 2021. Joel has thirty years of experience working in many areas of Operation and manufacturing. His experience involves working with companies in the Aerospace industry that drive quality to be its focus. These roles were with companies such as Alcoa Aerospace and Collins Aerospace.

Joel is a six-sigma green belt and has an extensive level of experience working in lean and six sigma process improvement as well as full plant wide implementations. The focus of his efforts has been on improved efficiencies, employee engagement and being employee focused as a leader.
Joel is a very proud husband to Clara, he has three grown children and loves making sure that every moment possible he spends with his family.

Justin Gibson
Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Justin is the Environmental Health and Safety Manager of Evercast and its subsidiaries. Justin has been a leader in EHS for over a decade working with companies including Duke Energy, Michelin, Shaw Constructors and is an integral part of advancing the Evercast safety culture. He is a graduate of Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree and numerous Professional Development Certifications from NC State (OSHA 500), National Safety Council (Construction-Manager, Environmental Safety and Health- First Aid/CPR Instructor), and National Association of Safety Professionals (Licensed Safety Professional). 

When Justin is away from work, he cherishes family time, enjoys a nice relaxing evening by the firepit with a good cigar, and loves the game of baseball. He resides in Denver, NC with his wife, three kids, two dogs, and two cats.
